Guestbook
When we were asked to design an artist book for my production methods class, I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and design a guestbook for my wedding. I decided to make the cover of the book out of wood and laser cut the design. Then, I dyed the wood in the color I desired. For the pages inside, I designed them and added fun elements to make it interactive and fun. I used materials such as gold leaf flakes, ready-made envelopes, vellum paper, string, eyelets, and wax seals made with the Uniqooo designed wax seal stamp. For the binding of the book I used a single sheet coptic stitch, which took a very long time.
